We are delighted to welcome Mark Whiston and Lara Joyce to the Bulls, who join as committee members. Also, a very warm welcome to their children Amber and Seth.
The new members live in Sheffield and will be adding even more knowledge and experience to our excellent committee. Mark and Lara worked with our joint manager John Stancliffe during his time at Maltby Main, where Mark was Vice – Chairman, Treasurer and Gateman and Lara was the merchandise manager. Their son Seth is a keen ball boy and aims to develop his skills further at AFC Mansfield. We will also see Amber at our games with her support dog Nevis, a beautiful golden Labrador, who loves a fuss.
Mark and Seth are Sheffield United season ticket holders and are avid ground hoppers, visiting different places as often as possible. AFC Mansfield’s recent placing in the United Counties League will open up the chance to attend new locations. Lara commented “Our family love the new structure and can’t wait to be part of championing the club ethos of ‘second chances, underdogs and hard work paying off’.
