Home debut victory for Chatfield

AFC continued their exceptional pre-season form with a 4-1 win over Blidworth Welfare in Matt Chatfield's first home game as manager.

Ross Duggan continued to impress, not only scoring two goals for the fourth game running but also securing his first hat-trick in a Bulls shirt.

Duggan fired AFC into an early lead on 13 minutes, before doubling the advantage from the penalty spot just five minutes later.

Nicky Darker then ensured the lead would be comfortable at the break, scoring his first Bulls goal just before half-time.

It took only five minutes after the restart for Duggan to complete his first hat-trick for AFC, before Blidworth earned a consolation in style just moments later.

Clay Cross Town host the Bulls in their next friendly on Saturday afternoon, before AFC finish their pre-season preparations at home to Hednesford Town on Tuesday night.
