Bulls Exit the Notts Cup

The penalty curse strikes again !

The Bulls travelled to Blidworth for the Notts Cup game on Tuesday evening and went behind when a cross / shot ended up in the top corner from Luke Bacon 0-1. The Bulls dominated the game and had a Hardwick goal disallowed, before Hardwick ran through and slotted home calmly to level the game 1-1.

The Bulls then had a second goal disallowed when Hardwick, who looked very much onside to deny the Bulls going ahead and Bouheraoua went close near the end. The lottery of the penalties then took place with the Bulls losing and exiting the competition.

Manager Spencer Fearn stated "overall we played well, we restricted our opponents to two attempts all game and we had created plenty of opportunities to win the game and should have won in normal time. The lads need to keep going, when you haven't won for a while you don't get the rub of the green, but you cannot fault their efforts tonight, we played some really good football in parts. Congratulations to Blidworth and we wish them well for the remainder of the season"

The Bulls are back to League business this Saturday when they host Eastwood at the Forest Town Arena, kick off 3pm.
