
Match Review: Boston Town (H)
The Bulls had a battle on their hands to earn a point at the Forest Town Arena on Saturday, with defender Mark Dudley turning out a man-of-a-match performance to help earn the draw for AFC Mansfield.
The Bulls started well, Rhys Walwyn-Allsop hit a delightful-looking ball in the middle of the area but unfortunately, striker Yewo Nyirenda couldn't control his header and Boston cleared the ball away.
The Bulls continued to press and they were rewarded in the 25th minute, striker Nyirenda turned his body well under pressure to control the ball and hit a powerful shot beating the Boston keeper.
Richard Dearle was kept on his toes following a Jordan Nuttell header but the ball landed safely in the Bulls keeper's hands.
Sean Devlin was close to making it two for the Bulls on the 30th-minute mark, after a counter-attack from the Bulls, Devlin lets lose a shot but only finds the side netting.
The Bulls entered the second half positively, Surafel Tefera found himself through on goal which Boston cleared.
The Bulls however conceded shortly after, following poor defending Boston's Ford headed home a loose ball.
The Bulls saw the game out and earned themselves a point at home at the Forest Town Arena.
